Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will be adding another route into the Southern Hemisphere as American Airlines announces a daily non-stop route between DFW and Auckland, New Zealand to begin October 29.
“As the second busiest airport in the world, we are excited to add this new route to the DFW global network for our passengers,” said Sean Donohue CEO of DFW Airport. “Adding Auckland as a destination makes DFW one of just a handful of airports in the US to connect passengers to Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney.”
Seasonal, daily service will connect DFW passengers with New Zealand and beyond aboard a Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This addition continues to make DFW one of the most connected airports in the world with over 70 international destinations.
Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport is the most connected airport in the world. Centered between owner cities Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, DFW Airport also serves as a major job generator for the North Texas region by connecting people through business and leisure travel.
